Press Release - IPIE Appoints Reto Jauch to Foundation Board of Trustees
Read The NewsApril 15, 2026 - Zürich, Switzerland - The International Panel on the Information Environment (IPIE) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Reto Jauch to its Foundation Board of Trustees. Reto brings extensive expertise in board governance and organizational leadership, supporting the IPIE's mission to deliver independent, evidence-based science on the global information environment.
Reto Jauch is a board governance specialist with extensive experience advising in boards across listed companies, private organizations, and not-for-profit foundations. He supports clients across industries on governance, succession planning, and the search for board members and senior executives.
Reto moderates the SZ&J Board Roundtable, a private discussion forum for decision makers in business, politics, administration, and academia. He studied History of Economics at the University of Zurich and Universite de Montreal and completed both the PED programme and the Board Director Diploma at IMD in Lausanne.
It is a privilege to join the IPIE's Board of Trustees. Strong governance is essential to the credibility and long-term impact of any scientific organization, and I hope to bring that perspective to the IPIE's important work on the information environment. I look forward to supporting the Board as it navigates an increasingly complex global landscape.
