Paromita Bose is an Associate Professor at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, atthe Ecole Centrale School of Engineering, Mahindra University, Hyderabad, India. For herDoctoral Thesis, at the University of Hyderabad, she worked on the Social History of Dance inIndia. Her areas of research and interest are Gender Studies, Indian Writing in English andTranslation, Cultural and Urban Studies. In the last few years, she has beendeveloping methodologies to help aid teaching and learning of Humanities in an Engineeringclassroom.
