Dr Solomon Oyeleye graduated from the University of Ibadan, with specialisation in applied communication. His research interests cover health communication, media and journalism studies, climate change, conflict reporting, indigenous and political communication. He worked as professional journalist from 1997 till 2019 when he joined the faculty at Caleb University. He participated actively in developing the Federal Ministry of Health/UNICEF Training Programme on Advocacy and Social Mobilization for Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV/AIDS (PMTCT) in Nigeria and trained other Trainers and members of Social Mobilisation Action Teams (SMAT) in several states of the federation. He was one of two Nigerian scholars selected for the �Teaching Disinformation Studies in Higher Ed Workshop organized by Social Science Research Council (SSRC)� March 19, 2021. He was also joint winner of the 2021 Unicef/IAMCR Communication for Development Grant on Trust and Mistrust in Communication during the COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria. Has published in national and international peer reviewed journals. He is currently the National Secretary of the Association of Communication Scholars and Professionals of Nigeria (ACSPN), Acting Head of Department of Mass Communication and Director of Centre for Character and Leadership Development at Caleb University.
