Stine Lomborg is professor in digital communication and the founding director of the UCPH Center for Tracking & Society. Her research expertise is in digital tracking and datafication and its human and societal consequences. She is the recipient of an ERC Starting Grant and has led a number of empirical investigations around the datafication of everyday life and datafied welfare, including work on the introduction of automated decision-making systems across news media, public welfare providers and in personal healthcare. Her work combines infrastructural analysis with people-centred qualitative research.
