Dr Gabor Erdelyi is an internationally recognized AI researcher with a background in mathematics, computer science, and economics. He has an extensive research track record and knowledge in AI and Data Science-related topics. Dr Erdelyi is a senior lecturer above bar at University of Canterbury (New Zealand). He is also Partner for AI Research and Data Science at Phi Institute for Augmented Intelligence (USA). Furthermore, he is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) and is serving as an expert at the International Organization of Standardization (ISO) in the AI expert group JTC1 SC42. Prior to these roles, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the School of Economic Disciplines at University of Siegen (Germany), and as researcher at several universities worldwide, including Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) and HHU Duesseldorf (Germany). His current research focuses on multi-agent decision-making and the societal aspects of AI.
