Simon Thibault is an associate professor in political science at the University of Montreal. His research focuses on issues affecting the practice of journalism in Quebec and Canada, the politicization of the media, as well as misinformation and manipulation online. He is a researcher at the Groupe de recherche en communication politique (GRCP - https://www.grcp.ulaval.ca/), which brings together researchers from different Quebec universities. He is also a member of the Centre d'études et de recherches internationales (CÉRIUM - https://cerium.umontreal.ca/).
